Week 7 – Remote Curation of EFX exhibition

This was the first show I solely curating by myself, an exhibition that has 80+ artworks all of different mediums and styles and includes 4 artists. An extremely valuable experience as it further challenged my understanding of art and how works can communicate with each other even though technically they are different. I could imagine the space remotely in my head, so therefore I could vividly see each piece in the space.

After creating an floorplan and a cabinets list I submitted my plan to Damien for him to go though. Everything with the curation went well and we all agreed on the layout ready for the install the next day. Though, later on that night I unfortunately got pinged for Covid so therefore I could not help with the install.
